About Me
Hi! My name is Kaden and I’m a traditional artist in my early 20s from the UK, living with chronic illness. Ever since I was a child, I have been passionate about drawing- an interest that further blossomed throughout my health struggles.
When drawing animal subjects, I explore the wide variety of textures using graphite and enjoy the challenge of capturing the individual charm of each pet in my portraits.
Commission FAQ
What materials/medium do you use for the portraits?
All my work is currently done using graphite pencil on white 130gsm paper.How big are the portraits?
Currently, all portraits are drawn on A5 paper (14.8cm/21cm), although the actual drawing size will vary. Paper may be trimmed for a more even border.
The drawings will be in portrait or landscape orientation based on best fit for the reference image.
I do not currently offer frames for my commissions, however each order will come with an A5 backing card which will fit within standard A5 frames available elsewhere.What types of pet/animal do you draw?
I am most experienced with drawing cats, dogs, rodents, horses and some birds and reptiles. However, as long as the reference photo is clear and from a good angle, I am able to draw most animals. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are unsure!How much do you charge?
My opening price is £40 per portrait plus shipping. (Please note prices will be subject to change in future to adjust for availability.)
For multiple pets in one portrait, please note this will have an additional charge (I will contact you via email to discuss this before accepting your commission).
Payments to be made after draft is confirmed, via PAYPAL only.How long do commissions take?
This will vary based on my health and commission demand, however from the point of you receiving a confirmation email, you will have access to a digital queue to track the order progress!
If the commission is for a specific event, please give as much time as possible (ideally a month). I will prioritise where possible.
